LRS is offering free curbside pickup of real Christmas trees throughout January. Residents can take advantage of this special collection by placing their undecorated, real trees at the curb on their usual trash day. To qualify, make sure the tree is bare—no tinsel, lights, ornaments, or plastic bags—and isn’t frozen to the ground. Artificial, flocked, or decorated trees, along with those covered in glitter, wire, or plastic, are not eligible for pickup. This environmentally friendly service helps ensure trees can be properly recycled after the holiday season. Residents are encouraged to review all guidelines before setting out their trees.
