A 75-year-old woman from Wataga was arrested after an assault at a Knox County residence on January 3rd. Deputies responded to a medical alert, discovering a male resident with injuries. Following an investigation at the scene, Elizabeth G. Meminger was identified as the suspect. Authorities charged her with aggravated battery, aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, and home invasion. Meminger was taken to the Knox County Jail for processing.
