Schuyler County Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports an active week for the department between January 19 and January 26. Deputies are investigating the theft of four wheels from a shed on White Oak Road. Several citations were issued, including Hope Cox for driving while license revoked and leaving the scene of a crash, and multiple speeding tickets were given along major routes.
Deputies responded to two brush fires and several roadway accidents, including a head-on collision on Route 103 that resulted in one hospital transport. Authorities also served an order of protection, assisted motorists, and patrolled over 3,000 miles.
