Kewanee Elks Honor Makenna Witte and Landen Park as January 2026 Teens of the Month

The Kewanee Elks #724 has named Makenna Witte and Landen Park as January’s Teens of the Month. Makenna, a Wethersfield High School senior, maintains a 4.91 GPA out of 5.0, ranking fourth in her class, and stands out in music, art, FFA, Key Club, and leadership roles. Her community service includes church and HELP Center events. Landen, a senior at Annawan High School, boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA and excels in academics, sports, and NHS. He contributes to the community through digitizing sports history and supporting local organizations. Both students are recognized for their achievements and dedication.

MaKenna Witte is the daughter of Alyssa Witte. She is a senior at Wethersfield High School. Her class rank is 4/36, and her GPA is 4.91/5.0. She has a 4-year achievement in High Honor Roll, Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, FFA, Art Club, and Scholastic Club. She has a 3-year achievement in Key Club, and she has a 2-year achievement in National Honor Society, IHSA Solo & Ensemble, LTC Band, and Pom Pom. She has a 1-year achievement in FFA President, Vice-President, Historian, Art Club Vice-President & Secretary, and Jazz Band. Her community service includes volunteering at Key Club events. Easter event at the church and HELP center.

 

 


Landon Park is the son of Justin & Kimberly Park. He is a senior at Annawan High School. His GPA is on a 4.0/4.0 scale. He has a 4-year achievement in the High Honor Roll and basketball. He has a 3-year achievement in All-Conference Academic Football. He has a 2-year achievement in the National Honor Society, FCA, and as a co-captain. Football & Basketball, and All-Conference Academic Basketball. He has a 1-year achievement in school plays and FFA. His community service includes volunteering to digitize All-Conference Hall of Fame photos, the Anderson Consignment Sale, and the Humane Society in Geneseo.
