A Colona man faces serious charges in LaSalle County following an investigation into child sex abuse material and unlawful videotaping. Jackson Yeager, 34, was arrested after sheriff’s investigators discovered a hidden camera at a rural Marseilles home. Yeager, who was reportedly known to the family, now faces five counts of possessing child sex abuse material (Class X Felony) and five counts of unlawful videotaped recording (Class 3 Felony). Authorities emphasize this appears to be an isolated incident. Yeager remains in custody after a judge denied his release during a detention hearing. The Illinois Attorney General’s Office Forensic Unit assisted in the investigation. Yeager is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
