Illinois Valley Community College invites prospective students and families to Explore IVCC on Tuesday, March 31, from 5:30 to 7 PM. The event kicks off at the Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Centre, where a student panel will offer a candid look at college life. Visitors can attend a resource fair to meet program leaders and get answers about majors, financial aid, and student services. Campus tours will run throughout the evening. Special breakout sessions are planned by the Dual Credit office at 5 PM and the Center for Accessibility and Neurodiversity (CANS) at 6:30 PM. Pre-registration is available online.
“This is a great opportunity to explore our academic programs, meet our dedicated faculty and staff, and experience firsthand the supportive environment that makes IVCC a great start for your higher education journey,” said Tom Quigley, director of Enrollment Services.
Illinois Valley Community College is now offering pre-registration for its Explore IVCC event. Prospective students can visit the college’s website at ivcc.edu/admissions/exploreivcc to secure a spot. The college has also announced that registration for summer and fall classes opens on April 1st. For those interested, summer term options begin May 18th and June 10th, while the fall semester launches August 14th. IVCC encourages anyone considering higher education or new career pathways to explore these opportunities.
