Illinois Valley Community College Presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee This April

Illinois Valley Community College is set to bring laughter and heart to the stage with its spring production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Audiences can catch the show from April 9th through the 12th and again from April 16th through the 19th at the Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Centre. Performances run at 7:30 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with Sunday matinees at 2 PM. The musical features a dynamic cast of students and community members portraying contestants in a spirited spelling battle.

Excitement is building for the upcoming IVCC Theatre Department production, featuring a talented cast that blends IVCC students, community members, and high school talent. The ensemble includes Noah Ruiz, Micah Harris, Phillip Goodale, Megan Stasiak, Ellie Radtke, Isaac Fletcher, Tobias Burkey, Alex Stafford, Ethan Posey, Isaac Alvarado, and Eugenia Craig. Supporting the production are Phoebe Kammer, Garret Luke, Cassidy Malcolm, Azlyn Bachman, Tyler Bienemann, and Sarah Masters. Online ticket sales open on Monday, March 9th, with prices set at $20 for adults and $15 for high school students and younger. IVCC students attend for free.
