The Princeton Public Library is rallying community support for its digital collection during Library Giving Day on Wednesday, April 1st. This one-day online fundraiser aims to raise $1,000, enabling the purchase of at least 10 new audiobooks for eager listeners. As digital materials grow in popularity among local cardholders, the cost remains a challenge—some eBooks that sell for under $15 cost the library as much as $95, and licenses may expire after only a few years. In February alone, hundreds of digital items were borrowed, showing strong demand. Donations will directly fund at least 10 new audiobooks, keeping resources accessible for all. Contributions can be made in person, by mail, or online at www.princetonpl.org. Residents are also encouraged to advocate for the Digital Library Protection Act, HB 5236.
