Kewanee FFA Students Shine with Top Honors at Illinois State Awards Day

Kewanee FFA is celebrating after three of its members placed in the Top 5 at Illinois’ State Awards Day. Emmalee Kilstrom earned recognition in Diversified Horticulture, Remy Hicks was honored in Outdoor Recreation, and Gunnar Carmichael excelled in Environmental Science & Natural Resources Management. With over a million hours invested statewide in more than 20,000 SAE projects, their selection stands out. Kewanee’s community beams with pride as these students’ dedication showcases both achievement and leadership in agricultural education. Their hard work not only reflects personal commitment but also sets a high bar for future FFA participants across Illinois.
