March 23
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of East Division Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was flagged down about a threats complaint that happened over the weekend.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NE 1 st Ave for a property line dispute.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 7 th Ave to assist Stark Co Medic with a lift assist call.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 2 nd Ave for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer went to multiple residences to follow up on ordinance violation letters that were mailed about a month ago.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a loud noise complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the east edge of town to watch for a reckless driver heading towards Galva.
Officer located the vehicle, but did not observe any violations for a traffic stop.
Officer was dispatched to the west edge of town for a traffic complaint involving following too closely.
Officer did not locate the suspect vehicle.

March 24
Officer was dispatched to the Galva PD to meet a resident who wanted to fill out a freedom of information act request form for reports.
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD in reference to a dog bite incident that occurred last week.
Officer was dispatched 2x to the 1100 block of SE 2 nd Street for 9-1-1 hang up calls. Officer located the subject who had accidently pressed the emergency button on the side of the phone.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 3 rd Ave for a loud music complaint. Officer located a teenager and advised him of the complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for a loose pitbull complaint. The animal owner denied that the dog had been outside recently.
Officer went to the 700 block of SE 1 st Street to complete a low speed vehicle inspection.

March 25
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Street for a harassment complaint involving a subject yelling profanities at neighbors.
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to update their quarterly sex offender registration. A completed form was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer impounded a dog that was located in the 00 block of Chester Street. It was later returned to it’s owner.

March 26
Officer was dispatched to City Hall to pick up a debit card that had been turned in there. It was returned to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SW 9 th Ave for a solicitor complaint. The subject was located and did not have a permit.
Officer was notified about a controlled burn taking place in the 300 block of NE 9 th Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Street for a civil standby to retrieve property.

March 27
Officer was flagged down about a social media scam where an unknown person was attempting to obtain money.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Swank Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2 nd Ave for a child custody dispute.

March 28
As the result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of SE 2 nd Street, Nathaniel Lockett, 21, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Market Street for an abandoned dog complaint. A dog was located tied up at a closed business. As the owner was impounding it, the owner called and was able to pick the dog up and take it back home.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to the east edge of town to watch for a vehicle that was called in for reckless driving south of Kewanee. Officer was not able to locate.

March 29
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 1 st Ave for an illegal burning complaint. The resident was advised of the burn days, per city ordinance.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 3 rd Ave for a loose dog complaint. Officer was not able to locate it.
