Despite this change, the initiative remains dedicated to supporting middle school students at Central and Wethersfield Jr. High Schools, focusing on homework help, project guidance, test prep, and building academic skills. Since its start, the program has matched 82 volunteer tutors with 240 students in need. Shoppers at the local Save-a-Lot, 401 South Main Street, have the opportunity to make a difference by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar.
