The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced roadwork set to begin on Illinois 82 in Henry County, just north of 1700N Avenue, starting Wednesday, April 8, weather permitting. Crews will be replacing a culvert, and the area will shift to single-lane traffic managed by temporary signals. Completion is projected for June. Motorists are urged to follow posted speed limits, watch for new signs, and remain alert near workers and equipment.
