The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department logged notable incidents for the week of March 30 to April 6. Authorities are investigating the theft of copper wire and property damage at a business along Route 103. Multiple traffic incidents were reported, including several collisions involving deer near local roadways. Police also issued citations for speeding, equipment violations, and uninsured driving. Three arrests were made on warrants and body attachments.
With farm equipment returning to area roads, motorists are urged to drive carefully. Tornado sirens will activate in the event of severe weather, and routine testing takes place the first Tuesday each month.
