OSF Saint Luke Charity Golf Classic on June 1, 2026, to Support Patient Transportation Program
The green fairways at Midland Golf Club are set to welcome golfers of all abilities as the OSF Saint Luke Annual Charity Golf Classic returns on June 1st. This beloved Kewanee event, after a year’s pause, renews an enduring tradition while supporting a vital cause—the Patient Transportation Program. Funds raised from the tournament ensure community members can access vital medical care. Organizers encourage residents to sign up for a memorable day of golf, camaraderie, and giving back. Registration is $125 per player and includes lunch, 18 holes with a cart, dinner, and prizes. Registration details are available at osfhealthcarefoundation.org/kewanee-golf-classic. All swings and putts will make a meaningful impact, one ride at a time.
OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center’s Rural Transportation Program celebrates its 4th anniversary this year, offering a lifeline to residents of Galva, Kewanee, and Neponset. Fully funded by philanthropy, the program ensures no fees for users, supporting all ages in reaching essential health care appointments, physical therapy, or returning home after emergency room visits. Community members describe the service as a blessing, vital for those with chronic conditions or limited mobility. Reliable transportation supports coordinated health care and helps neighbors safely age in place. Contributions from local supporters remain crucial for reaching more families in need.
