The Levitt AMP Galva Music Series returns to Wiley Park for its eighth season, bringing ten weeks of free outdoor concerts to Galva. Kicking off May 31st, the series features diverse musical acts—from zydeco and Celtic rock to hip hop, bluegrass, and Americana—performing every Saturday evening through August 9th. Families and friends are encouraged to gather with chairs and blankets for a relaxed, picnic-style experience, complete with local food vendors and free children’s activities. Community support has been vital, with over $40,000 raised through local sponsorships, ensuring continued access to world-class live music for all. The series is a testament to Galva’s dedication to the arts, funded through local and national support. Details at GalvaMusic.com and on their Facebook page.
“Every summer, this series proves that something special happens when people come together around live music,” said John Taylor. “You’ll see families, friends, and neighbors connecting in a way that just doesn’t happen anywhere else. That’s what makes this so meaningful.”
Hosted by the Galva Arts Council and presented by Regional Media, this ten-week series offers a diverse lineup. Concerts run each week from 6 to 8:30 PM, with free admission and activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy local vendors, kids’ activities, and even bring along their well-behaved pets.
