State Representative Travis Weaver of Peoria has launched the 2026 Community Clean-Up Project, which began this week and runs through May 22nd. This annual initiative encourages residents, especially students, to help beautify their neighborhoods by collecting litter and properly disposing of it. Participants are asked to submit photos with their filled trash bags to [email protected]. Students need parental permission to join in and will receive a Certificate of Service after submitting proof of their efforts. Rep.
