Student innovation takes center stage at Illinois Valley Community College as the annual MIMIC lab-to-table innovation and design fair opens its doors. This year, sophomore CAD students showcase unique creations, including decorative shelving, interactive marble maze games, and a sword-shaped USB sheath for gaming enthusiasts. Also featured is a 3D furniture and window kit for tackling remodeling challenges. Months of collaboration and problem-solving go into each product, which students will present and sell in the Student Life Space campus commons on April 24, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event highlights practical, creative solutions crafted by emerging designers.
