Canning with Confidence: Food Preservation Programs at area libraries

Canning enthusiasts are invited to sharpen their skills this May with “Canning with Confidence,” an expert-led session on safe home food preservation offered by the University of Illinois Extension. The workshop features hands-on demonstrations, essential equipment overviews, and research-backed resources, making it ideal for both beginners and veteran preservers.
