Join the “Stroller Club” in Henry County and Wear Pink in May
A new “Stroller Club” is inviting parents and caregivers to connect and make friends during weekly park meet-ups. Held every Tuesday at 10 AM, these gatherings encourage families to walk together, share stories, and enjoy quality time outdoors—rain or shine. There are no registration requirements or fees, making it easy for anyone to join. This month’s special theme is pink: organizers are encouraging members to show their spirit by wearing pink on Tuesdays.
Local communities are gearing up for a vibrant May 2026, featuring a series of events across popular gathering spots. Residents can look forward to activities at the Hennepin Canal on County Road 22, Baker Park on Pleasure Drive in Kewanee, and the Park District at Southeast 6th Street in Galva. Families are also invited to Johnson’s Park on North 1200th Avenue in Kewanee for recreational fun. Organizers remind all attendees to monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety and comfort during these outdoor events, as conditions may change quickly during the spring season.
