Greg C. Sticka will be officially sworn in as Associate Judge for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Illinois on May 15, 2026
Greg C. Sticka has been appointed as an associate judge in Illinois’ Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. The oath of office was administered by Circuit Judge Geno J. Caffarini during a private ceremony in Bureau County. The Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court covers LaSalle, Bureau, and Grundy Counties. An official swearing-in ceremony is set to take place at the downtown courthouse in Ottawa on May 15th at 1:30 PM, followed by a reception celebrating his new role. Mr. Sticka’s appointment marks a notable addition to the local judiciary, with community members and local officials expected to show support. Sticka brings extensive legal experience, having served with the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office and earning degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and DePaul University.
