Schuyler County Sheriff’s Report for May 18th
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office released activity for May 11th through May 18th. Reports include two separate deer-related accidents on local highways and multiple traffic citations for speeding, some clocked at over 90 miles per hour.
Alicia Simpson of Beardstown was arrested and later released on a county warrant. Deputies issued several warnings, served five summons, one mittimus, and executed one warrant. Patrols covered 3,616 miles with a daily detainee average of seven.
Residents are urged to stay vigilant against scams and reminded not to drink and drive over the Memorial Day weekend. For tornado warnings, sirens will sound for two minutes; seek shelter immediately.
