Atkinson man charged with dissemination of child pornography

Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 2 Special Agents have arrested 28-year-old Tyler K. Hartman of Atkinson, Illinois, for dissemination of child pornography, a Class X felony. The arrest followed a search warrant executed on May 27th in the 18000 block of North 1700th Avenue, Atkinson, as part of an ongoing child sexual abuse materials investigation. Hartman is currently being held at Henry County Jail, awaiting his first court appearance. The Geneseo and Kewanee Police Departments, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, and Illinois Attorney General’s Office Forensics assisted in the case.
