Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a civil stand by to retrieve property.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a loud noise complaint.
May 26
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 4 th Street for a reckless driving complaint. Officer was not able to locate suspect vehicle.
May 27
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of West Division Street for a disturbance complaint. AS the result, Luke Rawlings, 43, Galva, was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Galva PD for processing and later released with a required court date.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Center Ave, Donald Adams, 49, Galva, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on SW 2 nd Ave for a suicidal subject complaint.
May 28
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 1 st Ave for a loose dog complaint. The dog was located and returned to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 11 th Street for a welfare check. The subject was located out of the area and was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 4 th Ave for a theft complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of James B Young Road for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. It was determined to be an accidental pocket dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. Officer checked the area and was not able to locate anyone needing assistance.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of North Center Ave for a civil complaint involving the purchase of a vehicle.
May 29
As the result of a traffic stop in the 00 block of SW 2 nd Street, Evan Salz, 22, Kewanee was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 3 rd Street for a city ordinance violation involving a pile of furniture sitting on the terrace. The residents were advised to dispose of the items.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 2 nd Street for a loose dog complaint. Officer was not able to locate it.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of South Center Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was confirmed to be a mis dial.
May 30
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street for a wild animal complaint involving an injured fox. Officer located it and followed it further east towards the outskirts of town.
Officer was dispatched to the south edge of town to watch for a reckless driver. Officer did not locate.
May 31
Officer spoke to a resident by telephone about a city ordinance violation.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NW 7 th Ave for a wild animal complaint involving a snake found in the backyard.
Officer assisted Henry Co with a welfare check south-west of town for a couple walking towards Galva. Officer was not able to locate.
