Don’t miss the 50th Anniversary of Hooppole Day with a 250th-themed fireworks show

Hooppole Fun Day is turning 50 in 2026, and organizers are planning a milestone celebration to line up with America 250. The event returns Saturday, June 27th, with a full day of small-town fun, starting with pie judging at 9:15 AM at the fire station, followed by the parade at 10. Activities include kids’ pedal pull, penny scramble, frog races, mud volleyball, bingo, Rolle Bolle, bags, carnival games, and the Lil Mr. and Miss Hooppole presentation at 5:30. The Dani Lynn Howe Band performs from 7 to 11 PM, with America 250-themed fireworks at dusk. Details are on Facebook at “Hooppole Fun Day.”

Residents and visitors are encouraged to come early, enjoy the festivities, and help Hooppole celebrate half a century of Fun Day memories.
