Kewanee Historical Society Celebrates 50 years of preserving local history
The Kewanee Historical Society is celebrating 50 years of preserving local history with a public anniversary event this Saturday, June 27th, at 125 N. Tremont Street. The celebration runs from 5 to 7 in the evening and will feature live music from Bell and Field, along with Italian beef sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, snacks, and cake. Guests can also enter free raffles for gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops. Complimentary swag bags will be available for attendees as part of the milestone celebration. The event is open to the public, offering the community a chance to honor five decades of Kewanee history.
