Communication Upgrade for RFPD
Rock Falls is investing in key equipment upgrades for public safety and utility crews. Following recent city council authorization, the Rock Falls Police Department is moving ahead with an $82,400 communications network upgrade, including the purchase of 21 new Kenwood handheld radios. The new radios are expected to strengthen officer communication in the field and support more reliable day-to-day operations.
