Sterling City Council Preview
Sterling City Council meets tonight at 5:30 at City Hall, with surveillance and city nuisance notices among the issues drawing attention. Council members have agreed to formally review the city’s contract and use of Flock Safety automated license plate readers, following continued privacy concerns and local debate over how the cameras are used.
Also expected to remain part of the discussion: nuisance notifications. A resident recently addressed council after receiving warning letters over a patch of weeds, raising questions about how the building and zoning department handles those notices. Residents can attend the meeting at City Hall. Tune in to WSDR Tuesday morning for an update at 8:30.
