Kewanee Salvation Army “Stuff the Bus” day at Kewanee Walmart on July 10th

The Salvation Army of Kewanee is asking the community to help local students get ready for the new school year through its annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive. The event is set for Friday, July 10th, from noon to 4 PM at Walmart, 730 Tenney Street in Kewanee. Shoppers can buy school supplies and drop them in Salvation Army collection bins near the front of the store. All donations will remain in the Kewanee area and be distributed to local students during Community Day at the Pool on July 25th. Online donations are also available through the Kewanee Salvation Army’s “Walmart School Supply Registry.” For details, call 309-853-4192.
