Geneseo Moose Lodge Hosting a Free America 250 Celebration on July 10th
Geneseo Moose Lodge Number 990 is inviting the public to a free America 250 Celebration on Friday, July 10th, from 5 to 9 PM at the lodge on South State Street in Geneseo. The family-friendly event features live music from Paxton Sherbeyn and The Solid Gold Boys from 7 to 9 PM, plus food trucks including Henn House BBQ, Holey Donuts, and Tropical Sno. Kids’ games, cold drinks, bags, Rolle Bolle, and raffles are also planned. Lodge President Deb Wheeler says the event builds on strong community turnout from recent Moose activities. Recent successes include a spring Easter Egg Hunt and the first Taco Tuesday Classic Car Cruise-In, which drew a strong turnout and sold out of tacos.
“The incredible turnout at our Easter Egg Hunt showed how much local families enjoy gathering together,” said Deb Wheeler, President of the Geneseo Moose Lodge #990. “We are eager to carry that energy forward with this free America 250 celebration, our summer carnival, and upcoming events later this year as the Geneseo Moose Lodge continues giving back to our community.”
The lodge says the celebration is only the beginning of a seasonal lineup aimed at bringing neighbors together and strengthening local engagement. A major highlight is the return of the popular Moose Carnival, scheduled for August 6th through 8th. Organizers are also planning additional public events for Halloween and the holiday season. The Geneseo Moose Lodge describes its mission as celebrating life and helping communities grow closer. More details about upcoming events are available at www.beamoose.org.
