“First Steps for Farmland Owners” program on August 4th in Princeton

New farmland owners can learn how to protect and manage their investment at an upcoming program in Princeton. University of Illinois Extension and the Bureau County Farm Bureau will host “First Steps for Farmland Owners” on August 4th from 10 AM to noon at the Bureau County Farm Bureau, 1407 North Main Street. The session is designed for people who have inherited or recently acquired farmland and may not have farming experience. Topics include farmland values, fair cash rent, rental agreements, and conservation programs. Registration is available at go.illinois.edu/FirstStepsBureau.
