The Annawan Girls Basketball team struggled shooting but played terrific defense as they defeated Wethesfield on Wednesday night, 46 to 37. Coach Jason Burkiewicz commented on the game saying “We were cold as ice shooting from the field tonight but defense holds like it’s been all year.” With the win, Annawan moved to 6 and 1 on the season. The loss dropped Wethersfield to 3 and 2. Annawan will be back in action on Saturday vs Brimfield. Wethersfield will be back on the court tonight against Mon-Rose.
