The Black Hawk College 5K Hustle continues to make a significant impact, raising $10,030.49 in its 2025 event to support students in the college’s Physical Therapist Assistant program. More than $8,300 of those funds have already been awarded as scholarships to help first-year and second-year PTA students with tuition and clinical costs. Additionally, second-year students received National Physical Therapy Examination study guides to support their exam preparation. With more than 150 participants this past November, the annual event, started by a PTA program alum, has now raised over $95,000 since 2012, fostering future healthcare professionals.
