Families are invited to the Kewanee Public Library District’s Children’s Room this week to participate in a special craft event in support of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. From April 15 to 17, between 2 and 6 PM, and on Saturday, April 18, from 9 AM to 1 PM, visitors can drop in to create blue pinwheels. These pinwheels symbolize hope and a commitment to protecting children. The event welcomes all ages, encouraging the community to unite for a brighter, safer future for local children. No registration is required—everyone is invited to take part and raise awareness. For more information, visit the Kewanee Public Library Facebook page and website.
