Each household is permitted to set out either two bulky items or one rubbish pile, not to exceed six feet by six feet, at the curb for pick-up. Items that surpass these size restrictions, along with hazardous materials, yard waste, electronics, and construction debris, are excluded from collection. Residents are encouraged to follow these guidelines to ensure efficient waste removal and keep the community clean. Residents are asked to have items at the curb by 5 AM on Friday, May 15th.

Annual Cambridge College Square Park Cruise-in begins May 14th

The cruise-in at College Square Park is scheduled for May 14th, June 11th, July 16th, and August 13th, 2026, from 5 to 7 PM. From 7 AM to 12:30 PM at 303 Southeast Road, the Cambridge Fire Protection District is inviting the community to enjoy a hearty meal while supporting a vital cause. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged twelve and under. All proceeds will help purchase new fire equipment, ensuring firefighters have the tools they need to keep Cambridge safe. Spectrum Fest 2026 on Sunday, May 24th, with music, food, games, fun, and community spirit
Music lovers and families can look forward to a full day of entertainment at Spectrum Fest on Sunday, May 24th. The spectrum-themed festival features a lively schedule with bands like The Synchyas kicking off at 11 AM, followed by Funktastic Five, The Forty-Twos, Overthrow, and headliners 3 Years Hollow wrapping up the night at 10:45 PM. The cost is $25 for all five bands. Food options include classic grilled Henry County pork chops, burgers, and hot dogs, with a variety of snacks like chips, candy, cotton candy, and popcorn available at the concession stand. Thirsty guests can choose from soda, water, and an assortment of draft beer and 16-ounce pounders. Attendees can join cornhole and sand volleyball tournaments starting at 11 AM, enjoy bounce houses for kids, and savor food and drinks throughout the venue.
