The Village of Cambridge is set to welcome families for its annual Easter Egg Hunt at College Square Park on March 28. Festivities kick off with pre-K and under at 2:00 p.m., kindergarten through second grade at 2:20, and third through fifth graders hunting at 2:40. Children can look forward to collecting colorful eggs and snapping photos with the Easter Bunny. Complimentary egg bags will be provided, making it easy for little ones to carry their treasures. Organizers invite area families to join for an afternoon packed with springtime fun and community spirit.

Shoppers and bargain hunters have an opportunity to explore a community-wide garage sale happening on Friday, May eighth, and Saturday, May ninth. Residents throughout the area will be setting up tables and displays, offering everything from household items to clothing and collectibles. In addition, the neighborhood is encouraging everyone to lend a hand during a community-wide clean-up day set for Friday, May 15th. Organizers hope participation in both events will boost community pride and help spruce up shared spaces. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and take part in these efforts to come together and support the neighborhood.

Residents of Cambridge planning to participate in the upcoming clean-up day organized by Peterson Disposal Service should take note of the newly released guidelines. The event is limited to occupied homes located within city boundaries. Each eligible residence may set out either two bulky items or a single rubbish pile not exceeding six feet by six feet. Items such as hazardous waste, electronics, and construction debris will not be accepted. Participants are encouraged to sort their items carefully before collection day to ensure they comply with these rules. More information can be found on the city’s official website or Facebook page.
