The demolition derby is the highlight of Day 5 at the Henry County Fair
Get ready for smashing action at the Henry County Fair Demolition Derby on June 20th at 6 in the evening. Presented by Viola Boyz Promotions, the derby promises a night of hard-hitting action as drivers battle across multiple classes for cash prizes. Driver entry is $50, with pit passes available for $30. Multiple classes will compete for cash prizes up to $1,500. Fans can expect high-energy, loud collisions, and plenty of hometown excitement as competitors put their cars—and their nerves—to the test.
Families can get a hands-on look at emergency response and fire safety this Saturday, June 20, 2026. Activities begin at 2 PM with the Getz Fire Extinguisher Training Simulator, which offers practical lessons on responding safely during a fire. From 4 to 8 PM, attendees can experience a 911 Dispatcher Simulator, the Med Force Helicopter Experience, and a Smoke Training Trailer. Also from 4 to 7 PM, Doc Patterson’s Music, Magic and Muppet Show will entertain the crowd while teaching important fire and life safety lessons for all ages. The event blends fun, learning, and real-world safety skills.
Henry County Fair activities are packed this Saturday, June 20th. The day starts at 9 AM with the 4-H Rabbit and Poultry Shows, plus Open Beef and Open Horse Shows. At 10 AM, the ABGA Boer Goat Show takes over the Swine Barn. The Bags Tournament begins at noon in the Infield Pavilion, with registration at 11 AM. Carnival rides run from 1 to 5 PM with armbands, then return from 6 to 10 PM. The Merchant’s Building and Exhibitor’s Hall open at 1, along with Henry County OEM interactive displays. The Beer Garden opens at 4:30 PM, followed by the 6 PM 50/50 drawing and Demo Derby by Viola Boyz.
