Dr. Glenn Miller retires from the Stark County Health Board after 33 years of service

Longtime Stark County Health Board member Dr. Glenn Miller has been recognized for 33 years of service to the community. Dr. Miller, who joined the board in 1993, has played a crucial role in advancing public health initiatives across Stark County. His colleagues, including Board President Dr. Remi Satkauskas and Public Health Administrator Duane Stevens, praised his dedication and advocacy for residents. The board, consisting of physicians, a dentist, a county member, and residents, meets quarterly to address health needs—members serve without compensation.

Dr. Remi Satkauskas, Stark County Health Board President, said, “Dr. Miller has been devoted to the community; and has given 33 years of service to the Stark County Board of Health and the betterment of health services to Stark County citizens.”

Duane Stevens adds, “Dr. Glenn Miller has been a dedicated member of the Stark County Health Board; having served on the Health Board from 1993-2026. Dr. Miller has been a wonderful advocate for the health of all Stark County residents. I will personally miss working with him.”
