The Kewanee School District’s preschool program is welcoming a special guest to the Petersen Auditorium. Farmer Jason, also known as Jason Ringenberg, will be performing his energetic children’s music. The program is rescheduled to Tuesday, March 17th, due to the severe weather on Tuesday evening. From 6 to 7 PM, children and adults can enjoy the free show, sponsored by the Kewanee Pre-K Program and the Illinois PFA Grant.
Recognized for his Emmy-nominated PBS video, Ringenberg’s performances blend country, rock and roll, and folk influences, offering an interactive and lively experience for young audiences. This all-ages event is free and open to the public, providing families a unique chance to enjoy nationally acclaimed entertainment in their community. Organizers hope this performance will inspire an early love of music and learning among children in the district.
