Residents in Galva will notice water hydrant flushing taking place from April 6th through April 17th. The process will begin in the southeast and southwest areas, then continue to the northwest and finish in the northeast part of town. During this maintenance, the water department warns that rusty water may surface in any neighborhood. Citizens are encouraged to let their taps run for several minutes before doing laundry to prevent staining. Superintendent of Water, Jacob McClintic, emphasizes that this regular procedure helps maintain water quality and clarity for the whole community. Please plan water use accordingly.
