March 30
Officer was dispatched to the east edge of town for a reckless driving complaint. Officer located the suspect vehicle at a local business. The driver was advised of the complaint and no signs of impairment were detected.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NE 6 th Ave for a disabled tractor trailer that was disabled and blocking both lanes. An oversize wrecker was contacted and able to remove it.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 2 nd Street for a civil stand by to retrieve property.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 3 rd Street for several 9-1-1 calls that plotted there. A grandparent advised that a young child was playing with a phone.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SW 2 nd Steet for a loose dog complaint. The dog was contained into a fenced area after officer determined nobody was home.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 9 th Street for an illegal burning complaint. Officer located a small tree stump burning and spoke to a subject about the city ordinance involving fires. The subject agreed to put the fire out.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 5 th Street for a complaint involving a group of juveniles playing basketball in the roadway.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 6 th Ave for a disorderly conduct / stalking complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 3 rd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a young child playing with a phone.

March 31
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer spoke to a resident by telephone about a freedom of information request that had been submitted.
Officer was dispatched to the intersection of NE 2 nd Street and NE 5 th Ave for a utilities complaint involving a telephone box that may have been damaged. Officer knew that the box had previous damage and it was believed to be weather related.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of South Exchange Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched again to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer assisted Stark Co Medic with a medical emergency at a residence on SE 5 th Street.
Officer was dispatched near the intersection of Main Street and Exchange Street to check the welfare of a subject in the area. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer was dispatched west of town to assist Henry Co with a physical domestic disturbance.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3 rd Street for a loud noise complaint.

April 1
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of North Center Ave for a loose dog complaint. It was impounded and later returned to it’s owner in rural Bishop Hill.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a loud noise complaint.
Officer was dispatched to assist a motorist that got a vehicle stuck on a mud road just south of town on Industrial Ave. The driver had walked to a Galva Motel. Knox Co was advised of the vehicle.

April 2
Officer was dispatched to attempt to locate a wanted subject that was reportedly walking in the NW area of town. Officer did not locate them.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was again dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
While patrolling, officer noticed a railroad crossing arm malfunction at the SW 6 th Ave crossing. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 9 th Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was again dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.

April 3
Officer, along with the fire department, were dispatched to a residence on East Division Street for an activated carbon monoxide alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer, along with the fire department, were dispatched to the 400 block of SE 6 th Ave after a contractor struck a gas line. Several neighbors were evacuated until the gas was able to be shut off.
Officer went to the 700 block of NW 2 nd Street to attempt to locate a wanted subject. As the result, Jevante Powe, 36, Galva, was arrested on two separate Henry Co warrants for failing to appear on charges of driving while license suspended (2 counts) and the other warrant for was residential burglary and 2 counts of criminal damage to property. These warrants had no bond and he was transported to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on SE 6 th Street to heck the welfare of a subject. They were fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 2 nd Street for a complaint involving a group of juveniles knocking on random doors and then running away.

April 4
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NW 8 th Ave for a theft complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 1 st Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer went to a residence in the 500 block of NW 7 th Street to attempt to locate a subject wanted on a warrant. As the result, Angela Ralston, 58, Galva, was arrested on a Stark Co warrant for failing to appear on the charge of bad checks. It was considered a catch-and-release warrant. She was given a new court date and released.
Officer was dispatched to a verbal domestic disturbance in the 400 block of SW 1 st Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2 nd Street for a large verbal dispute involving two carloads of subjects. They were dispersed.

April 5
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street to assist a citizen.
While patrolling, officer located a disabled vehicle in the 1300 block of SE 2 nd Street. Officer assisted a subject with changing a tire.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a verbal domestic disturbance.
Officer assisted the ambulance with a medical emergency on Swank Street.

Citations
Jonathan Terry, 21, Galva, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle in the 300 block of SW 1 st Ave.
