Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of NW 5 th Ave for a loose dog complaint. The dog was impounded and the owner was later contacted and signed over the dog for adoption.
Officer followed up on a trespassing complaint from the previous day in the 700 block of SE 1 st Street.
January 27
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SE 2 nd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Officer assisted Stark Co Medic by driving the ambulance to a local hospital during a medical emergency on Trolley Road.
Officer was dispatched to an activated burglar alarm in the 200 block of SW 2 nd Ave. It was determined to be a false alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NW 3 rd Ave for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Officer spoke to a subject who confirmed they had permission to be there.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of SE 2 nd Street, Michael Guerrero, 33, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
January 28
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 5 th Ave for an attempted scam complaint.
Officers from several agencies conducted a search warrant on a residence in the 200 block of SW 6 th Street.
January 29
Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of NW 3 rd Ave to assist a business.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of West Division Street for a loose dog complaint. Officer was not able to locate.

January 30
Officer was dispatched to the NE 6 th Ave railroad tracks for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 7 th Street for a telephone harassment complaint.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NE 6 th Ave for a welfare check. The resident was located in a local hospital.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 3 rd Ave for a verbal domestic disturbance.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SW 2 nd Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint. A subject was needing directions, which were provided.
January 31
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. The owner was updating a cell phone and accidentally called.
Officer was dispatched to the east edge of town for a reckless driving complaint. The suspect vehicle was located, but no violations were observed.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3 rd Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a child playing with a phone.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NE 9 th Street for a suicidal subject that had made threats to a friend over the phone. Officer was able to contact suspect by phone, but they denied being in the Galva area.
February 1
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD to update their annual sex offender registration. A completed copy was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SW 4 th Street for a telephone harassment complaint.
Officer spoke to a walk in complainant at the Galva PD in reference to a neighbor dispute / harassment.
