The Geneseo High School Robotics Team achieved an impressive 11th place out of 29 teams at the FIRST Tech Challenge Regional competition in Peoria on Saturday, February 14, 2026. This marks their best ranking in the program’s four-year history. The team also earned 2nd Place for the Think Award, honoring their commitment to the engineering process by designing, building, and improving their robot throughout the season. Seven members attended Regionals: Zebin Lin, Lydia Carton, Hunter Hoover, Natalie Aukee, Owen Kelly, Bee Scheider, and Maddie Reade. Teammates Reyhan Onder, Esref Onder, and Micah Johnson were unable to attend the competition.
