Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo Earns Five-Star Rating for Patient Experience from Becker’s Hospital Review

Hammond‑Henry Hospital has achieved a prestigious honor, earning a five‑star rating for patient experience in the most recent Becker’s Hospital Review, based on HCAHPS data from CMS. This distinction is awarded to only a select few nationwide, with Hammond‑Henry among just 18 hospitals in the country that improved to a five‑star recommendation since December 2025. The recognition reflects feedback from patients treated between July 2024 and June 2025. Hospital leaders credit this achievement to the unwavering dedication of staff, providers, and volunteers, who are committed to providing outstanding care close to home.

A new report from Becker’s Hospital Review highlights hospitals that patients highly recommend across the U.S., using data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) program administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo has joined 18 additional hospitals in attaining a five-star recommendation for patient experience, up from December 2025. The rating is based on surveys collected between July 2024 and June 2025. This year, 765 hospitals nationwide earned the top distinction—an increase from 747 last year—reflecting improved patient satisfaction in Illinois, Iowa, and beyond.
