The Summer Totes Project at Hill Church aims to support at least 40 local families by 2026. To reach this ambitious goal, organizers are seeking to raise at least $8,000 by March 15th. Contributions can be made online at hillchurchfamily.org, in person during Sunday service at 10 AM, or at the Hill Church Office Monday through Thursday. Donations by mail are also accepted at 107 North Main Street, Kewanee, Illinois. Supporters are asked to specify “Summer Totes Project” on their envelope or check memo. Each contribution helps make a real difference in the community. For questions or to donate, call 309-852-9611 or email [email protected].

Hill Church’s Summer Totes Project is making a difference for local families as the school year ends. Volunteers recently packed large totes filled with food, essential hygiene items, and other helpful supplies. These totes are delivered to area schools, where staff distribute them to families facing hardship during the summer months. With classes on break and school assistance programs paused, this effort ensures that children and their families have access to necessities. Organizers say community support and donations have made this possible, and they hope to expand the project to reach even more families next year as the need continues to grow.
