The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking motorists to avoid traveling if possible. The continued wind is causing roads to drift over again. “Continued wind is causing snow to drift back onto the roads, making clearing efforts difficult.” All area counties are experiencing traffic accidents and stranded motorists.
“Travel is not recommended if it can be avoided. If you must travel, please slow down, use caution, and allow extra time to reach your destination.”
More snow is expected on Tuesday, March 17th, but the wind speed is expected to decrease.
