Illinois Valley Community College will soon offer more scholarship opportunities, thanks to a generous $28,000 donation from the IV Leads Foundation. The contribution creates an endowment fund intended to provide ongoing financial support for students. This move comes on the heels of IV Leads merging with the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce. As a result, the four annual scholarships previously offered will continue, helping future students pursue their educational goals. College officials say the endowment will have a lasting impact, expanding access to higher education and supporting the region’s workforce development for years to come.

“We are so happy to be able to help students at IVCC. We believe in growing the workforce in the Illinois Valley and are happy to work with the College to provide opportunities for young professionals,” said Spencer Luecke, past president of the development organization for young professionals.

“This donation will ensure that the important work that IV Leads has done for our community will continue long into the future. The leadership experiences through IV Leads have been beneficial for a number of our campus leaders and these scholarships provide essential support for students,” said IVCC President Dr. Tracy Morris.
