Illinois Valley Community College is launching an eight-week Small Business Accelerator workshop aimed at entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their businesses. The hands-on course, which runs on Tuesdays from February 17th to April 14th, from 6 to 8 PM, on the main campus, utilizes the Kauffman FastTrac curriculum. Participants will develop business plans, receive mentor feedback, and craft marketing strategies. The program ends with a pitch competition, awarding the top business ideas. The eight-week series culminates in a Shark Tank-style pitch competition, where top performers can earn investment awards. IVCC alum Connor Cofoid leads the sessions.
