Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join the February “Friends of the Hennepin Canal” hike, set for Sunday, February 15th. The route, called “Bald Eagle,” covers 4.6 miles from Lock 30 to Lock 32, with hopes of spotting bald eagles along the way. Participants will gather at 1:30 PM at the steel dam in Milan and shuttle to the Mississippi River starting point. The event is free and open to all; no membership is required.
