Macomb Man Arrested For Possession of Child Pornography

MACOMB, IL – A Macomb man was arrested Thursday evening after an investigation by the Illinois Attorney General’s (AG) Office concluded that he was in possession of, and sharing, child pornography.

According to reports, local police officers were dispatched to 801 North Randolph Street to assist the AG’s office and International Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, where they arrested Christopher Fugate, 38, of Macomb.

Fugate appeared in a detention hearing before McDonough County Circuit Court Judge Heidi Benson on February 9th, where he was charged with 5 counts of dissemination and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

Fugate is currently being in the McDonough County Jail without bond with an additional court date set for February 28th.

All parties are considered innocent until found guilty.
