Annual More on 34 Yard Sales on Father’s Day Weekend on June 19th and 20th, 2026

The annual “More on 34 — Miles and Miles of Garage Sales” returns Father’s Day weekend along Route 34, stretching from LaSalle County through Bureau County and into Henry County. Some sales begin Thursday, June 18th, with most open Friday and Saturday, June 19th and 20th. Bureau County Tourism has compiled more than 60 sale locations, including over 30 in Princeton. Lists will be available at the Prouty Building, Bureau County Fairgrounds, local gas stations, and on Facebook. The Fairgrounds will host about 50 vendors starting at 8 AM both days, with food available Friday. Shoppers are reminded to bring small bills and park responsibly.

More on 34, first conceived in Kewanee, now covers more than 100 miles along U.S. Route 34 from Galesburg to Aurora. The two-day sale runs Friday and Saturday, with most vendors opening around 8 AM and staying active until at least 5. Shoppers can expect antiques, unusual finds, household items, and roadside treasures at homes, fields, parking lots, and community stops. Organizers remind visitors to park safely, respect posted signs, and plan ahead—some bargain hunters say the full route can take three days to explore.
